Ready to Impact Our Culture with Grace and Truth?
LBC’s Music, Worship & Performing Arts (MWPA) Department exists to prepare highly skilled artists to influence our culture with grace and truth.
Students hone their craft in a community of dedicated artist-teacher mentors and passionate peers. Our caring, student-centered environment nurtures the mind, soul and heart of each person with a view to promote creative competency and Christ-like character.
Real-world, practical experience prepares students to engage professionally on many levels; in a touring ensemble, on stage as an actor, singer, instrumentalist or dancer; studying privately with a world-class artist-teacher; or preparing for a professional vocational journey in Performance, Worship Arts, Musical Theatre, Music Education and Composition.
Hear from two MWPA students about how their LBC musical training has impacted them musically, spiritually, professionally and personally.
Theatre majors experience a wide variety of musical & theatrical genres during their studies. Enjoy the highlights from Mozart's "The Magic Flute."
Ministry opportunities abound for MWPA students. MBSSY is one of our traveling worship bands. Enjoy them singing an original song, "More Than an Experience."
Our undergraduate programs are fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).
